Anestis Melidonis, Ph.D.
Anestis Melidonis graduated with a bachelor degree from the Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology department (Psychology Major) of the National University of Athens, where he continued for a master level degree in Ethics (grade: excellent). After his master he was awarded a Phd in Philosophy from the same Univ. on the subject: J.-J. Rousseau: an approach to reality through experience (grade: excellent). During his Phd studies he spent a semester at the University of Leipzig as part of his research. He is currently a post-doc researcher at the psychology department of the University of Athens. His research is focused on Modern Identity and Personal Self. He has published articles in scientific journals and participated as a speaker in conferences in Greece. He has published two poetry collections, the first one nominated for the state award of best new author of the year. Except Greek he is fluent in English, French and German.
